Automated Trading vs Copy Trading
Automated trading and copy trading get sold as the same thing. They are not. One can invent the entry. The other follows a source. Merc is the second job: execution of Discord communities and Copy traders on your MEXC book.

Two different jobs
Automated trading, in the usual pitch, means software that looks at the market and decides. Indicators, grids, martingales, a model with a confident name. The bot is the source.
Copy trading means a human or a desk is the source. Software may still place the order. The decision did not come from your laptop scanning candles. It came from someone you chose to follow.
Why the words get mashed together
Both involve a computer. Both can be fast. Both can lose money. Marketers like that overlap because it lets a strategy bot wear a copy-trading costume, or a signal room wear a quant costume.
Where Merc sits
Merc listens to Discord communities and Copy traders, parses the plan, validates it, then executes on your MEXC Futures account. Your rules can refuse the ticket. Merc does not take custody.
That is automated execution of someone else's signal. It is not an AI trader. AI never picks trades. Templates and regex parse. Rules validate. Odd formats may get extraction help. The call still came from the source.
What you give up in each category
- A strategy bot: you give up the entry decision to code you probably did not write.
- Copy trading: you give up the entry decision to a source you can name.
- Manual trading: you keep the decision and you keep the night shift.
None of those paths remove market risk. Leverage still multiplies. A stop can slip. A source can have a bad month. Risk disclosure is the honest page for that.
How to choose without a ranking table
If you want software to invent setups, Merc is the wrong product. If you already trust a Discord room or a Copy trader and you want the ticket typed on your book while you are away, Merc is built for that.

Questions
- Is Merc an automated trading bot?
- Merc automates execution. It does not invent entries. Sources are Discord communities and Copy traders. AI never picks trades.
- Is copy trading safer than a strategy bot?
- Not automatically. You swapped one decision-maker for another. Your rules and your venue risk still decide how large a mistake can get.
- Can I use both a strategy bot and Merc?
- You can run other software on your own exchange account. Merc will still only execute sources you armed. Two automations on one book can fight. That is your configuration risk.

Copy Trading for Beginners
Copy trading is your account acting on someone else's trade plan. You still own the book. You still set the rules. Merc is execution on that book, not a pooled copy product and not a bot that invents entries.
How Merc Works
Merc is a four-step pipe. Listen. Parse. Validate. Execute. The source is a Discord community or a Copy trader. The book is yours on MEXC. AI never picks trades.
Discord Trading Signals Explained
A Discord trading signal is a message, not a crystal ball. It names a market and a plan. You do not need to read a chart to understand that. You do need to know who posted it and what your rules will refuse.
Next step
If the page earned a look at the product, the desk is through Discord on your own MEXC account.
